A fairly new subject in grade 3 is social studies. In this grade, two major topics will be covered 1. Heritage and Citizenship, and 2. Canada and World Connections.
We will begin with studying Heritage and Citizenship, and specifically focusing on Pioneer Life. This unit will take about a month to complete, and the website I have provided below will aid in many of the expectations listed in the curriculum documents.
